Fabric is only one the choices that a buyer will have to make when designing a lanyard. Other choices include the wording on the cord. Almost every business which chooses to make lanyards will opt to have the name of the company on the cord. They may also want to include the companys logo.

One thing which companys like to have on the ribbon, is contact information. The website, phone number or address can be written on the cord, or any combination of the three. Cords can also display taglines or slogans. If a business wishes to have their tagline on the cord, they should make certain that it is going to fit. Even if it does fit, the tagline may not look effective because only a portion will be readable when the cord is being worn.

There are many choices when it comes to attachments. Some of these claps only have one purpose, while others are multifunctional. When designing the lanyard the buyer will have to determine which one will be of the most value to them. If they are intending to use the lanyards as promotional products then the buyer will need to think about what the recipient will want or need.

Polyester, nylon or cotton, all of these fabrics make wonderful lanyards. However, in order to make a great cord, the printing, style and attachment must also be considered.
